A friend and I go to techno warehouse parties. She’s early 30s and I’m late 30s. Although we don’t go to clubs. That’s a different vibe which isn’t really for us.

There’s a different crowd that goes to a club with bottle service and fancy dressed people and a warehouse party where music and art are more important than the clothes you wear.

As much as my autistic self hates loud noises, I also enjoy dancing to loud music and ignoring the flaming world for a night.

I barely ever even here of the young people at work going clubbing. I vaguely know one person who goes clubbing but he’s a DJ so idk if that counts

At my age, 30+? Most of my friends either don’t drink (I’m also in that crew) or are the kind of people that start getting tipsy on their second glass of rosé, so clubbing ain’t for us. But some either still do or were doing it regularly (clubbing/pub crawls twice a week), and of those the vast majority do coke. Between loved ones, friends, family and acquaintances, I’d say I know about 20 people who share in these hedonistic pursuits? Idk.

Regularly? Maybe 1, allowing for an extremely generous definition of “know.” Even when I was in college I didn’t really hear about people going clubbing that often.

Clubbing rarely nowadays, that was much more of an in-my-20s thing. Generally if I do it now it’ll be due to something like a stag do or I’m somewhere where the clubs are another level (e.g. Berlin, Ibiza).

Still go to a couple of music festivals a year though which has similarities

Glastonbury is my main, I’ve been to all but 1 (nearly 2 as I’m not going this year) since 2014

I did Shambala (the UK one) a couple of years ago which was similar but much smaller.

I’ve been to Manchester Psych Fest for several years now

Generally go to one of the London festivals most years, just did the Jamie XX day at Lido festival in victoria park the other week

When was the last time you made the effort of reaching out to someone in the aether. I think these endorphins dosing idiot bricks get in the way of the feedback cycle that motivates most human interaction in all but the most extroverted, but I live under a rock

That I know of? Zero. But I casually know a lot of people, so I am sure a few of them “go clubbing”… I guess maybe they dont call it that anymore.
