Aren’t helicopters more effective? They can spot treat, hover, and load from smaller bodies of water, land in any clearing to setup for fuel not just airports, etc.

We use a lot of helicopters in BC it gets hard to even book one for other work during the summer since they’re all busy with fires on a bad year
