Title!
Any good alternatives? Replaced our Heinz ketchup with the far superior Werder ketchup. Maybe something similar is possible for Tabasco?
I’m biased, but I prefer Portuguese piri-piri sauce to Tabasco. If you want something fancier I can also recommend Crazy Bastard sauces which are made in Berlin…
CBS are great, love them. They‘re so fresh abd also great for people who don‘t like it too hot.
Buy Mexican. My favorite brand is El Yucateco.
Very hard to find mexican food or products in the Benelux 😂 dutch speaking people are allergic to spice and not having potatoes!
El Yucateco, the best!!
Already in my fridge! I‘m very lucky to have a mexican store in my town!

Because the community is called “Buy European”?
Anything is better than tabasco.
That‘s not the point. I have lots of very nice sauces, but sometimes I like Tabasco. I know its just spicy vinegar basically, but hey.
I like OG Tabasco on fish pie and lasagne. Don’t know why but none of my other hot sauces sit right with those two meals.
Lasagna for me as well. Just fits perfectly.
Aldi sometimes has organic Tabasco-like red chili sauce produced in Danmark.
There’s a shit ton of Mexican hot sauces. I like valentina
Valentina is so awesome!!
I searched on Reddit, via RedReader: /r/buyfromeu/Tabasco

Check Paladin. It’s portuguese and we know our spicy sauces. The company is family owned and their products are essentially gold standard in Portugal. They mostly export their name brand but supply supermarket chains with store brand products.
Wonderful, thank you for your recommendations!
Pleasure! You’ve inspired me to change my habits & look beyond Tabasco too.
Try crazy bastard sauces. They‘re awesome!
In Finland we have “Poppamies”, I think they need to expand their presence in Europe.
I‘ll check it out! Thanks!
It’s not European, but I love this stuff
Basque country (on the frontier between France and Spain) has plenty of mild chilly sauces made with the local Espelette chillies. If your looking to go beyond the 1/2 million sco, you might want to try those from the Croatian “I love heat” company, but the mildest ones they make are closer to the Tabasco heat-vinegar combo.
Uhhh my mother is from Croatia!! I‘ll check it out, thanks!
Thai sirracha? Make your own chilli oil?
