Fifty was the magic number Monday. Gilgeous-Alexander has made three All-Star appearances, two All-NBA teams and finished second in MVP voting a season ago, but he had never dropped 50 in a game until that 54-point outburst Jan. 22 against the Utah Jazz. He’s now done it four times.

The mid range game is alive and well.

    Shai is doing very well (and I’m definitely not his fan) but only vote fatigue could give him the MVP trophy over Jokic, he’s silently being so good he’s almost annoying

      I’m not a huge fan myself, but he’s getting better every year, similar to Jokic. If the season ended today, he’d probably be front runner because of the team’s record and his individual stats.
