Originally her ult only hit one target, they changed it to 2 to buff her since she’s pretty bad once you have people smart enough to use metal skin if she’s fed.

That made her pretty OP so they changed it back to 1 but had her ult also do spirit damage to offset how hard countered she could be.

I haven’t been able to play much since the new map rework since with kids i don’t get as much time to play as I used to but it sounds like she (and any hero that was good with farming) has benefited enough from the new map that they felt she should be nerfed.

I agree with you she shouldn’t be a hero that’s strong since she’s too easy to play but was just shocked at the nerf based on my experience with the old map but makes a bit more sense hearing about the new meta the map rework has made.

Edit: I’m probably explaining it bad but think she can only shoot at one target at a time within her range but that doesn’t mean all her shots are only hitting 1 hero, she used to be able to basically shoot at 2 targets at once so it was a pretty big DPS increase.

Am I crazy or is that a huge Haze nerf?

I know they added that spirit damage part after removing her hitting 2 targets so now they’re just removing the spirit damage completely or am I missing something?

I don’t play her but she felt like bottom tier for anyone that’s not a beginner so a nerf is surprising.

I’ve been busy so only played 3 games and not quite sure how I feel yet with that small a sample size. I do feel like split pushing is much harder but haven’t had a game as wraith yet tho to test that out since I’m primarily playing support Ivy.

I do think long term it’s probably going to make it easier for new players to get the hang of things:

    1. Less lanes means less objectives to think about and they put jungle/farm in a lot more open obvious spots so it’s not as hard to find for them.

    2. Everyone in duo lanes means it’s less likely they get just absolutely stomped during laning.

That’s probably good for getting new players but we’ll have to see once the game is officially released.

  • Weather is nicer out west as other have said so they have an easier time with free agents.

Not as true recently but west owners were much better for a while too but that might just be by chance.

Other people says it goes in waves but it’s been pretty solidly west the last 25-ish years and the league has matured enough from the old days I don’t think it’ll have a major shift anytime soon.
