    ??? It is pretty clear, unfortunately, China will take Taiwan in the coming months/years, and USA will do absolutely nothing.

      I was more implying that this sort of sabre-rattling has been going on for more than 70 years, and even absent U.S. protection, my understanding is that Taipei is willing to blow up all of its infrastructure if attacked. Including TSMC, which would alone bring its own set of issues.
