I don’t think anything brings Canadians together like an enemy, and right now the US is an enemy to us.

I agree but it’s not the US, it’s the US government. Yes it was elected by US citizens, but a lot of them were misled by liars and I blame their (and our) education system which permits adequacy.
I don’t think they should get a pass for being a bunch of morons (if I’m understanding your comment correctly). They elected this guy once already and that should’ve given them all the education they needed. As one of their greatest minds once said, “Fool me once, shame on … shame on you. Fool me… You can’t get fooled again!”
I have three grocery stores in town. Freshco, Save on, and Superstore. Two are canadian owned but Save on’s owner is a giant asshole who lives in Vancouver, Superstores owner is a giant asshole who lives in Toronto. The Freshco may be american but at least the owner of the actual store lives in town and is taking the time to point out the Canadian products in the store to people. I will do what I can to cut down on american food but sometimes eating takes precedent.
