If you don’t buy big 3 cars, then Canada “$ for $” tariff retaliation is unlikely to affect us on anything essential. Job losses are likely.

Trump can claim he’s levying tariffs to address national security concerns, thereby unlocking special trade powers that can help usurp a free-trade deal, experts say.

Understand that none of this fentanyl/immigrant bs is real. Only extortion to surrender our sovereignty. Treating pretext seriously is a big mistake.

US is an enemy state, not a troll concerned about fentanyl. Open relations with China, North Korea, Russia to shop Norad sites right away. Any US military on Canadian soil are foreign combatants. Cancel all US weapons purchases.

We don’t need to ban energy exports, but we should put an “export tariff” on it.

To add to this, I heard Angus Reid saying that 2/3 of US voters who support tariffs change their minds if gas increases by 30-70c per gallon. So the support is soft and if people notice the effects in their bills, it’ll likely evaporate.

He only talked about Greenland, Panama, Canada after election. Swing states would have been lost with 25% Canada wide tariffs election promise. In election, China and Mexico and radical woke left were the baddies.

I’ve either missed that or reality is becoming a blur under the firehose.
