Before anyone gets too excited about “I told you so”, it’s worth noting that this only happened because Russia is conducting a bombing campaign across Ukraine to terrorize civilians, including very close to the Polish border. Ultimately the fault lies with Russia.

This war is happening because NATO has been encroaching on Russia since the 90s. The war could also have been stopped back in April, but US and UK intervened to keep it going. Ultimately, as anybody with a shred of intellectual honesty knows, the fault lies with the west.

Also, Russia is conducting a bombing campaign to paralyze Ukrainian electric grid which is used to deliver weapons to the frontline because Ukrainian rail system predominantly uses electric locomotives.

I guess we’ll see when more details come out. Given the growing evidence that it was an Ukrainian S-300, why would it be so far off course, and not just that, in the complete opposite direction to the approaching missiles from the east it would be trying to intercept?
And it just so happens to hit a tractor in the middle of empty farmland. It’s almost like Ukraine would have something to gain if article 5 were triggered.

Well, a tractor and two people. But the how is not too much of a mystery. The area is sparsely but somewhat populated. There is a small chance of mass casualties along the border, but a fairly large chance of killing someone.
