This looks like Star Trek, I knew there were a couple cartoons but wasn’t sure if they were funny so I hadn’t watched them yet. What’s it from?

Lower decks is awesome. I went in expecting it to suck, but its not only very funny, its also clever and engaging and faithful to star trek. I was super impressed and now i kinda wanna rewatch it again.

That’s pretty cool that Star Trek’s visual design is so distinct you were able to tell just from Kayshon’s uniform and the screen. This is what he usually looks like:

EDIT: I just noticed there’s a Starfleet delta on the paper as well.

That’s Star Trek Lower Decks Season 2 Episode 1, “Kayshon, his eyes open”, if I recall correctly.

Tamarian security officer Lieutenant Kayshon is brought on to replace Lieutenant Shaxs, who died in the previous season finale (I swear this isn’t a spoiler). His first mission on the Cerritos is to decommission a dead collector’s collection. The collection’s automated security defences unexpectedly activate, and use a puppet laser to turn Kayshon into a puppet so he can be collected. The Lower Deckers are forced to save their new commanding officer with no oversight from command. After they get him back to the Cerritos, medical officer Dr T’ana puts this sign on him while getting ready to turn him back into a real boy. Counsellor Migleemo blatantly ignores the sign and attempts to appropriate Kayshon for use as a therapy doll.

We are born as such. It is only a matter of time and commitment before we return to it
