So will they just stand around displaying their inherit value, or providing instrumental value equal to that of a delicious milkshake?

I was focused on the information the referencer added. The song makes no mention of labor or idiots. The tweeting author’s message is that there is a distinct value difference in laborers and idiots. Please excuse me, I took it too personally, because I am not only a laborer and an idiot, but I am also boy who is predisposed to an attraction to yards containing milkshakes. 🥤

          🙄

The joke, and I can’t believe I have to explain it to you, is that if her milkshake brings the boys to the yard, they better make it worth making a milkshake.

If the song lyric was “my milkshake brings the girls to the yard,” the joke would be exactly the same.

You only like jokes when you tell them. If someone else takes the joke in a different direction, you have to object and reduce it back to the version you told. You can’t “yes and”
