    But why is a dull blonde? Boring brown hair is because mammals and only make brown and orangy brown pigments. A dino’s hair(-like growth) probably wouldn’t have such limitations.

      AFAIK that’s how they figured that at least some dinosaurs had feathers, but high quality skin fossils are very rare for obvious raisins.
