I just learned about Sherri Papini, and it reinforces how multiple types of privilege allow people to get away with so much. It also reminded me how much depravity people are capable of. People don’t like to believe others they think they relate to are capable of lying and manipulating because it can be scary to feel like someone “like them” can do those things. People are wild.
