      I’m an amateur user of KDE, used it for days on end when working on projects and I can’t remember it ever crashing… Maybe you’ve been unlucky with your setup?

        Well it’s an Intel I7 CPU/iGPU, so it should have good support, and the device’s RAM and SSD health are ok. I tested with packages from nixpgks and flatpak, both would crash at simple actions like adding video to timeline. Past versions from years ago were not so bad.

      I am sorry to hear that you run into those issues, i dont use it super heavily but I have not had a major issue with it.

        that’s ok for now. i haven’t been doing elaborated editing for a while now so I’ve been using Shotcut when I need; it is pretty stable. But I’ll try this new kdenlive version and see how it goes.
