Rats with wings. But not as an insult, because rats are cool and having wings is even cooler.
I love rats and while I have never interacted with bats from their videos they seem adorable as well.

In French, bat is chauve-souris which little translates to “bald mouse”.
In german it is fledermaus which translates to “flutter mouse”

Well angels are the bringers of death in christian mythology.
Specifically the angel of death. Angels act as the messengers of God appearing to various prophets and prophetesses. Sometimes even appearing to common people.
