The goal of the “safe zones” was always to give israel an excuse to designate anyone outside of them as a valid military target. While this is not how any international law works, we have to hear the “most moral army in the world” , propaganda all day.

“I have no doubt that there are other forces which would have used the drone,” adds the officer. “There is always tension between protecting our forces, which is the highest priority, and a situation in which you try to avoid unnecessary killing of civilians.”

This is a comment about a “near miss” (ie where they avoided killing many innocents alongside the one possibly innocent person they intended to kill).

Their forces are the “highest priority,” civilians lower down the list. This is how so many innocent people get killed. Because we can’t possibly expose a soldier to a minimal amount of risk.

For any lingering defenders of Israel reading: if the scale of killing isn’t because this is a genocide, what do you call it when tens of thousands of civilians are killed because the attacking army has a complete lack of respect for their lives and ultimately views them as disposable?

This has been US doctrine for operations in the Middle East since forever.

An ugly drawback of this, a lot of people confuse sionism and the fascist leader Netanyahu, giving arguments to Nazis that Hitler was right to kill jews. Not good for stopping the rise of fascist and nazi paries in occident. Even orthodox jews are protesting against this genocide in Gaza. While neo-liberalism rubs its hands, with record profits in the arms industry. All this is pretty screwed up with dire consequences for everyone, except for the sons of removed who caused this crimes.

Only a racist would believe that Israel and Jews are the same thing, no matter what Israel and even some Jews say, because such belief can only be built on top of the racist prejudice that “All Jews are the same” (hence they are all represented by that one nation).

Since overt racism became frowned upon, in the West we got a lot of closet racists, who think they’re not racist because their discrimination is “positive”, a ridiculous belief one can only hold if not logically examining it at all, since treating some people better than others because of their etnicity logically means negativelly discriminating against everybody not in that etnicity since they’re being denied that same treatment purelly due to their etnicity.

What this Israeli Genocide and the reaction to it amongst many Western Power Elites is making very clear is that both kinds of racists are equally disgusting people, it’s just that one group follows “political correctness” fads in their racism (i.e. not discriminate explicitly against certain etnicities which are deemed unfashionable to descriminate against) whilst the other group are traditional racists (i.e. “my group vs other group”) and, as we see now, the closet racists when a “politically correct” etnicity to support (Jews) commits the most horrid violence against an etnicity which politically correctness does not demand is supported (Palestinians and even Muslims in general) activelly and unwaveringly support the etnicity which is “politically correct” to support even to the point of providing them weapons and supporting the with diplomatic coverage in their comitting of a Genocide.

The traditional racists, who don’t discriminate along “political correctness” lines, keeping on doing what they always did is wholly irrelevant in this context because the damage they’re causing is so miniscule next to what Israel (not Jews, Israel) is doing with support of the closet racists that any humanitarian principles that seek to reduce suffering would always demand that we try first to stop those causing the greatest harm, which by a trully gigantic distance is Israel and the closet racists that support it.

Agree, globalizations are almost always a serious mistake, you cannot blame or accuse an entire country for an idiotic minority or a depraved leader. Not even a large part of this leader’s followers, who, due to media manipulations and biased education in schools, believe in his ignorance of what this nice person says on local TV. Especially if on top of that a certain international elite supports this leader, justifying these barbarities (“Israel’s right to defend itself” and similar garbage, while the right of Palestine to defend itself from Israeli barbarities and invasions since its creation was never mentioned, not even because an palestinian leader with a Nobel price).
