If they’re being forced to sign a voluntary agreement, then it’s not voluntary anymore. There is literally no difference in just making it a law at this point
I’m guessing they can just ignore the agreement if they want to with little repercussion. It shouldn’t even be an option
This is all performative. If the government wanted to actually help they would. This is not help.
So it’s taken them a 1.5 years to acknowledge it was a issue, then a year of figuring out what to do, now we’re 6 months into them pestering the grocers.
Next thing you know it’s election time again and if you really want something to happen you’ll need to vote for them.
