IMHO, AI generated images remove the creativity of memes.
Chosing a template, or creating a new one is not the highest effort, but still more of it than creating an AI prompt.
Imagine all these posters of AI images posting nothing but the prompt they made up, instead of the images (since that’s where their creative process ended). Pretty lame, huh?
This is not a meme
an image, video, piece of text, etc., typically humorous in nature, that is copied and spread rapidly by internet users, often with slight variations.
This is a meme. Not necessarily humorous. But a meme nonetheless.
The GATEKEEPER has arrived
Why not?
It’s an ai generated propaganda poster. There’s no joke, absurdity, hidden meaning, relatibility or anything of the like
Yup its actually AI but it is hella relatable
Look at the hair lock above the forehead and the junk on the earphone. It is definetly AI generated.
The only thing that made me think it could be AI generated was the random thing on her shoulder.
The cable of her earphone ends in a lock of hair for christ’s sake.
Who cares? Memes have always been low effort. AI just makes low effort look prettier.
There’s a place to be concerned about AI replacing human effort, but memes is not really that place

Who said that a meme should be that?
