The whole episode gives odd vibes. She takes Alexander into the Holodeck, and butters him up with a carnival type thing, then ends up in the mudbath at the end. Not a good look.
And it was a season 5 episode! I could almost forgive it if it was a season 7 episode because season 7 was the “let’s throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” season…
I traveled in Europe several times and my wife and I on several occasions paid a bit more or found a deal to get four star hotels with public baths and saunas. Most people use them as you think you would with a bit of modesty and cover up. But on two occasions we got caught in a sauna where a Scandinavian or German family came in fully nude with their children who were also nude. I can accept being around other nude adults but even then I’m still uncomfortable. But when it came to children in public, we just quickly packed up and left … I don’t care what cultural differences there are, I’m not sticking around to even talk about it.
So naked kids can sit next to naked adults in the future and everyone’s okay with it?
Nudity is not inherently sexual; that’s just our cultural hangup.
Okay, I can see where you’re coming from, but this is nutty and impulsive Alexander next to nutty and impulsive Lwaxana Troi.

Season 5 episode 20: “Cost of Living”
Such a weird episode. The guy with his balls gave me the creeps
I mean, that’s what happens in saunas every day. Context matters.
Saunas are usually gender-segregated.
Not that it would matter. Alexander would get angry in the sauna and start cock and cunt-punching.

It’s OK now too
Apparently.
