United States diplomats once again held up a vote on a watered-down United Nations Security Council resolution on Wednesday aimed at bringing more aid and relief to civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip as reports of starvation, mass killings, and other war crimes allegedly committed by the Israeli military continue to pile up.

Lots of countries give citizenship/visas to descendants https://www.globalcitizensolutions.com/citizenship-by-descent/ including some fairly “normal” places like Italy and Malta.
This is hardly an Israel specific practice.
Usually one or two generations removed at most. Israel’s policy is unique and is not enjoyed by people who are not Jewish who can demonstrate the same heritage.
The two examples I provided have unlimited ancestry admissions.
Again, not unique to Israel.
