    “Remains”, or “is growing” because of the hostile and authoritarian actions of the Chinese government?

      If you’re hostile to Canadian citizens over the actions of a foreign government, you should probably consider why that is.

      What you’re saying suggests that the CCP government in China represents all Chinese people in the world. There are a great many Chinese people that would vehemently disagree with that notion, in Canada and other countries.

      The CCP, however, would completely agree with your suggestion. Their secret police stations here in Canada, in the US, and certainly in other countries are proof of it.

      US media has done a great job of demonizing an entire race and we’re just along for the ride. I think the US needs an enemy to justify their military spending and we’re too tightly coupled with them to do anything about it.

      Ethnically Chinese Canadian citizens have as much connection to the Chinese government as ethnically Russian Canadian citizens do to Putin and his war crimes in Ukraine.
