    HDDs have SMART, and that makes them.better than SSDs

    Yeah, because SSDs also have SMART. The metrics are different.

      SMART is an open diagnosis technology for HDDs. There exists no such open tech for SSDs.

      Your logic equivalent would be calling Apple’s non standard Bluetooth with W1 chips the same as standard SBC/aptX Bluetooth for other TWS earbuds.

        SMART is an interface standard implemented by the HDD or SSD controller. The implementation is proprietary for almost all HDDs, too.
