I don’t think a privacy-friendly replacement for TikTok will appear in the future because there is not much demand for it. But I have found a CLI client for TikTok.

There may be short video sharing services that have better terms of service than TikTok, even if they don’t meet the level of privacy required by /c/privacy and the privacy community.
