Alternatively you only can activate the GodMode in Windows, to reach all the needed settings, but this is less secure (Dragons in some of this settings, if you don’t exactly know what you do).

FOSS is prefered for several reasons, but it isn`t sinonym of privacy or security, in this points it isn’t better or worse as any other soft. Also BigTech companies, like Google, Facebook, MS, Amazon and include NASA develop FOSS, Google, Facebook and Amazon APIs are present in a lot of other FOSS. Privacy? ehhmm, often better in this point a freeware from a single developer or small company.
