I configured default post sorting to ‘new’ but every time I start the app it sorts by ‘active’. Is this a known issue?

It seems to be working fine for me on 1.0.115, then I updated to 1.0.118 and it still seems okay. But I just did a quick check and perhaps the issue has other factors that triggers it. What version are you on?

I should’ve mentioned that’s the beta build. If you visit the Google Play page again, there’s an option there to join the beta. It can take a couple minutes before you’re signed up. But maybe the issue is fixed in the beta?

Just updated to 1.0.118, still having the same issue (and I can reproduce it every time).

I think Connect is respecting the Lemmy Instance’s sort settings. I am using feddit.uk that might explain why you have a different experience than mine.

I think I’m going to keep using Voyager and Infinity until I find one that is clearly better than the others. It is nice to have choices.

If it’s home instance related then you can change that in your account settings on feddit.uk.

EDIT: I actually have mine left on the default Active but it doesn’t seem to affect Connect for me.

Already have sort type set to “new” in my account settings. Web page is showing the correct order too.

Will observe when Connect gets another update.
