Ronald McDonald was probably so insecure that he didn’t want the guy the team loved in the building. Plus, he wasn’t associated with the Patriots.

Draft a QB when he’s the best player available. A lot of qb flops have been picked early, and some great qbs have been picked in later rounds. It’s a crapshoot. The Raiders are due to hit on a franchise qb. Hopefully, sooner than later.
Fuck Brady and Rogers. They were screaming at the refs for a roughing the QB flag if anyone touched them. They’re the reason the game has gotten soft. Now, people like Bradshaw, Stabler, Staubach, and earlier generations of players can say the game has gotten soft.
Nobody is hating O’Connell. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to upgrade the QB position. If a QB comes up during the draft, especially if he’s the best player available, pull the trigger and let them compete. Example: the chiefs had Alex Smith and were a playoff team with him. Mahomes became available, and Mahomes sat and learned his rookie year. I do feel we do need a QB with mobility.
Raiders defense is playing better. Imagine if they had 11 players on the field.
O’Connell was unusually inaccurate. Throws were high, behind, or long. The run game being ineffective didn’t help either. But it’s a work in progress. Next week, we need to find an answer to slow Kelse and Chris Jones.
O’Connell looked like a rookie. For some reason, some of his throws were high or long when he’s usually pretty accurate. If we have the opportunity, I’d still draft a QB if it was BPA. Especially one with mobility.
This is why they earn the name BSpn.
If we can get a win vs the chefs, AP will have a good chance of staying.
He’s the starting QB for the Raiders. So, I’ll support him and the team. In the off-season, if the team is able to improve in any position, it should.
Accept the reality that Carr is no longer on the team. But Once a Raider, always a Raider. Sometime after he retires, Mark will have him back along with other alumni and probably light the torch. So can we move on and remember the words of Al Davis - “The greatness of the Raiders lies in their future.”
They must not have noticed Carr being ineffective this weekend. Winston came in and made a game of it.
I don’t think Miami’s D is as strong as the Jets. But their offense is a track team. And then there’s the chiefs.
Might’ve lost 2 DBs to concussions tonight. Don’t know if Bennett made it back in.
1 game is not enough to tell. I’m sure he’ll open up the field, especially the middle. But, he might have some tendencies that DCs can counter. We don’t know yet. Hopefully, Bo will be inventive enough to mix up some of his own new plays into the JMcDs playbook that has been implemented so to take advantage of the players’ talents. Which Josh obviously didn’t do.
More Refrigerator Perry type plays. Use an athletic 300 lb man to either take the snap or handoff and get those short yards.
Bo Jackson. He was a highlight reel in the short time he played.
Didn’t realize Tommy boy was such a defensive genius.
It’s the league preaching player safety. With all the CTE cases popping up, the league doesn’t want any class action suits taking a chunk of their profits. So they pretend to care about the player when all they care about is profits.
