I finally got the update. The login screen is able to find Piefed servers but it fails to connect to them.

It says “Problem connecting to piefed.ca. Please try again.”

I tried the other Piefed servers for fun but they all gave the same result.

Oh actually piefed.blahaj.zone was recognized but that was the only one.

Let me know if you need any other info or if there’s elsewhere to post this style of thing.

It’ll never happen, but more people ought to vote with their wallets or else this kind of thing will just keep happening.

In Vietnamese I think a lot of it is metaphorical and used to convey personality traits or situations.

For example “mập như con heo” means fat like a pig. Or “ngu như bò” means stupid like a cow.

I am almost Lemmy/Piefed exclusive now. Sometimes I visit Reddit for some niche topics but I’m usually logged out and never comment there.

Wish more of my contact list would switch over to Signal. It’s nearly the same. I don’t see why it’s so hard for some people to just start using Signal instead of WhatsApp.

The speed at which PieFed is developing is awesome.

I believe this is why Japanese fishermen will sometimes use the ikijime method where you kill the fish fast. I believe it also improves the quality of the meat too.

Wow, would really love to see photon support for Piefed. I think it’s up to you how you’d want to implement Piefed support. Most of us are in this for the long haul anyways imo.

Makes sense. There is less muscle activity when we use a car as opposed to walking for example.

It’s going to be a challenge for teachers to find a way to teach with AI being so easily accessible for students and all.
