In my experience, they do not feel at all the same.
The beauty of the fediverse is, they’re already here. They may be just like you, wondering where the content they’re looking for is, but unwilling to get the ball rolling. If no one starts it, it never happens.

I use an extension that searches the code on the page to find them. It puts a little number up, then when you click it you can copy the link.

Reddit had communities dedicated to pedos and an incredibly toxic Trump community long before Twitter started getting a bad rep.
Is that why they started collapsing 90% of the comments? It’s super annoying now having to go through and expand them all.
