I somehow missed one of the middle episodes of the first season of House of Cards, and was very surprised at the boldness of having to piece together what had happened between episodes. Very demanding of the viewer.
I did realise my mistake immediately after though.
I’m also fascinated. I think a big part of it is coming home to tasks that are low stakes, guaranteed solvable and made fun to solve.
Gives some much needed stimulation of your job is to solve complex tasks which are high stakes, not guaranteed solvable and which require lots of effort for little reward.

Sounds like he’s saying that we’re so deeply dependent on the US for now that a screeching halt to our purchasing of US military equipment would de facto dismantle our defences. But that we should work to get out of that dependency.

My understanding is that feminists are against conscription in general, as it is considered a patriarchal and unfree institution. And because there are many pacificists and leftists among feminists.
But I’d be happy to learn more.

Crumbly? Flaky? That doesn’t sound like a Danish pickled herring… They’re smooth and fatty, with a light acid.
Danish pickled herring is amazing though… You really think Dutch salted herring beats it?

Language requiring healthcare professionals to care for veterans regardless of their politics and marital status has been explicitly eliminated.
So they can also refuse to treat e.g. republicans and married veterans.
Ugh.
