Face looks too pale for a spotted owl. Lacks the white x. Also habitat…seeing one in a residential area means almost certainly a barred. You’re seeing its back which can look pretty spotted on a barred owl.

The eclipse is more dangerous actually… The visible light is reduced so your pupil expands. But a lot of UV light comes from the corona of the sun which isn’t blocked during the eclipse. So your pupils are more open allowing in more of the harmful UV light. And to add to it, your eyes don’t realize they are being harmed by UV light without the visible so you don’t have that impulse to look away.

They’re overly clear on the physical presence requirement and the consequences for sending your application too early. It sucks for him, but it’s also not hard to wait an extra week to apply just to be absolutely sure.

Yep, worked there during the changeover. 2003-04ish. I actually loved working there under the old management, the food was good, quality was the priority. Then the fryers left, replaced by industrial microwaves…but we still baked the muffins. I’m sure even those are frozen/reheated these days.

There’s no fault here, imo…the person that put up the sign probably wasn’t thinking about events in Winnipeg. But that doesn’t change the fact that someone was killed and thrown away like trash. These are partially wrong. Pupil size/shape has no effect on field of view. A better way to judge FOV is where the eyes are placed on the head. Both in front like humans: small-ish FOV. On the sides of the head like a rabbit: larger FOV.

There’s no simple answer to your question, just like there’s no quick solution to the problem of inequality. But one premise you’ve mentioned isn’t quite correct. The democratic party hasn’t really been “ruling” for most of that time. They’ve controlled the presidency, yes. But for all except 2 years, they haven’t controlled Congress (it’s been either divided or republican controlled), and they haven’t controlled the supreme court. That said, a lot of Democrats are still happy to push the status quo, and there’s plenty of warranted criticism to go around.

It’s not quite that. It’s the players from the PWHPA that will fill the teams, possibly management from the PHF is involved though. Almost none, if any, of the PHF players will get signed for the new league.
