Worst part is, it works
If it’s stupid but it works…

Tyler sold his soap to department stores at $20 a bar. Lord knows what they charged. It was beautiful. We were selling rich women their own fat asses back to them.

You mean getting from there to here? Yeah, must have been a long time.

Drop number two will take place at 12:04 a.m. to honor America’s 250th anniversary.
Pretty sure America is older than that.

My human eyes create motion blur just by objects moving on the screen, there is no need for additional blur.
They don’t because those objects don’t move. You look at static images. Objects that would move fast enough to create a motion blur for your eyes rather create weird optical illusions.
Like, I get that you dislike the fake motion blur effect, so do I. But your eyes don’t compensate as the screens and games have refresh rates and don’t move anything in between frames.

I wish it would keep working. I keep buying stuff I would have loved as a kid, but it just somehow doesn’t fill the void.
So, I might be wrong on this, too… But I don’t think it’s too ambiguous.
Something that hasn’t been made clear: Firefox will have an option to completely disable all AI features.
We’ve been calling it the AI kill switch internally. I’m sure it’ll ship with a less murderous name, but that’s how seriously and absolutely we’re taking this.
They have a button that turns stuff off. Not on. So for me, it’s kind of clear that they’re building an opt-out solution.
“That feature will be opt-in. In the sense that it’s on by default and you can opt-out with a button. Not everyone will see this as opt-in.”
Yeah, no shit. Because that’s not opt-in, that’s opt-out. Pulling shit like that already makes me distrust their communication.

That’s hard to say without knowing your background. If you know your way around a programming language already, simply using a library or framework for that particular language might be the easiest solution for you. If you have no background in programming, simpler tools might work better, such as fusion 2.5 or other purely visual programming apps. If you have a decent understanding about algorithms without a preference for a specific language, dedicated engines such as Godot might work best.

Hiking? I mean, the world is just out there.
Other outside activities that need minimal equipment come to mind. You ever played discgolf? Or went running? Or geocaching?
But yeah, lots of activities aren’t expensive. Draw something. Paint something. Sing! Or do some sports! Yoga only requires a mat if you do it naked.

That explains it. Thanks.

The House on Wednesday voted down a War Powers Resolution meant to block President Trump from launching a war with Venezuela without congressional authorization, as required by the Constitution.
Emphasis mine.
Help me out with this… I’m not American, so maybe I’m missing something, but why would you need to vote for a law that basically just states that the constitution is still in place? And why would that be rejected? And why would that cause anything?
Are they falling apart to half time?

So… What are those two stars for then?

This is what it once looked like. 😭

That means they are only depending on apple for the one thing only apple provides, which is app purchases on the Apple platform. Everything else they have locally or backed up somewhere else. It’s literally their point that they’re independent despite having used the platform for so long.
