I don’t get the AOC hate. I mean I understand minor frustrations with him but I feel like a lot of people want to trash him so quick. Like let the dude cook and I think we could have a solid qb. I think with AP and Hardegree he could really fine tune and tweak his few flaws. I think he could be the real deal just get him a solid backup but I think a lot of us fans are sleeping on my boy. He’s been holding his own, especially with so much change during his rookie year. End rant. Stop the raider hate.

What I briefly say is that QBs like Josh Allen who’s a top 5 QB are not getting his team over the hump. Then you have guys like tua who doesn’t have a cannon or great ball placement who are leading the league in passing. Hell…DC4 was a machine with putting up yards and numbers. Jimmy G was doing nothing but winning before he got to the raiders…All those things don’t translate into winning. We need to fix the OLine, and we need interior pass rush. Those are 100% unquestionable areas needing improvement, as well as line backer. Those are our draft needs. And we ain’t getting a top 10 pick so what’s the point of looking at those options? Give up a bunch of capital for a maybe good QB? Look at this year’s #1 pick. Or trey lance, or the many QB busts. Having a good team helps develop a young QB into a winner not vice versa. Every rookie QB will have ups and downs and make mistakes, but that game vs Mia was more on the fault of our rushing game being weak on both O and D. Even great QBs struggle when you can’t run the ball.

    TL;DR

Once we know what system we are gonna be running Offensively and have a decent Oline, we can start looking at QBs IMO. Too many other needs and QB is the hardest position to hit on in the draft. Let’s continue to develop AOC and see where things go.
