  • What I briefly say is that QBs like Josh Allen who’s a top 5 QB are not getting his team over the hump. Then you have guys like tua who doesn’t have a cannon or great ball placement who are leading the league in passing. Hell…DC4 was a machine with putting up yards and numbers. Jimmy G was doing nothing but winning before he got to the raiders…All those things don’t translate into winning. We need to fix the OLine, and we need interior pass rush. Those are 100% unquestionable areas needing improvement, as well as line backer. Those are our draft needs. And we ain’t getting a top 10 pick so what’s the point of looking at those options? Give up a bunch of capital for a maybe good QB? Look at this year’s #1 pick. Or trey lance, or the many QB busts. Having a good team helps develop a young QB into a winner not vice versa. Every rookie QB will have ups and downs and make mistakes, but that game vs Mia was more on the fault of our rushing game being weak on both O and D. Even great QBs struggle when you can’t run the ball.

    TL;DR

Once we know what system we are gonna be running Offensively and have a decent Oline, we can start looking at QBs IMO. Too many other needs and QB is the hardest position to hit on in the draft. Let’s continue to develop AOC and see where things go.

  • That’s true but these guys don’t have the horrible system we have in place that McDaniels left us. And they don’t have rookie OC’s either. This talk about drafting a QB and pretending that’s gonna solve all the problems is wild. Stability is what’s needed and a decent system as well. Think about McDaniels and the system that is STILL in place here. AOC is apparently a great studying QB and has a great work ethic. Arm strength is there I’ve seen him ZIP that ball, If we wanna WIN NOW, then we should be looking at getting a Vet not a rookie. And if not then let’s get our DLine and Oline figured out and then go from there. I’d rather go after Jacoby brissett.

  • He was also looking Defenders off in this and other games. A lot to put on a rookie when we are missing out best OL, a new OC with McDaniels system still there. Not to mention we couldn’t run the ball, Vic Fangio is really good DC also. Let’s all let him continue to grow and develop, not like he was named week 1 started. Kids 4th game and he played well in the other 3.
