France on Saturday said it will deploy 7,000 soldiers after declaring a top-level alert following the fatal stabbing of a teacher by a Chechen-origin man, who also severely wounded three others at a school.

I wish he would recruit and deploy 7,000 teachers instead. There are 10 000 towns of more than 1000 inhabitants in France, it would be barely enough

Well, obviously, they can, but do you know where one might find 10 000 available French teachers? It takes time. The urgency of a terrorist threat is different.

The scarcity of teachers is decades long. How much time do you have in mind?

There is no urgency. If they spent the money to hire teachers instead of harassing immigrant and sending charters to split their families for example, we wouldn’t have had this attack.

Fascist solution to everything is violence, cops and soldiers. It solves nothing, it creates more problems, people die, fascist ask for more. What a beautiful time ahead of us…

Since January now. When the president talks about the limit on the number of mandates he can get as a stupid relic of the past, I am concerned. But since then it got way worse.

It is called opportunity costs. You can usually not magic twice the amount of money out of thin air.
