I asked the r/NCD mods earlier today about this. Apparently noone on their mod staff is involved in this community

You should try funkwhale as a backup in case spotify do a reddit… Fun things Funkwhale can speak with Lemmy since they are using the same protocol ^^
I’ll give it a look, I’m brand new to the federated side of things so I’m trying to learn all I can!
