Seeing the owl would wake me up faster than the coffee! 😀

Do you know if it was there for a specific job? The raptor people at the beach we go to have an Eagle Owl like that named Ozzy as part of their seagull control team.

When I was in Bulgaria, there was an ”owl handler” doing short ”shows” in various outdoor restaurants, and let people put on those huge gloves to let the owl sit on their arm for a short while. Broke my heart, the owl was so stressed.

There’s opportunity to do good things with public displays, but the animal’s happiness needs to be top priority, not the show itself. When our ambassadors get stressed, they get to go back to privacy.

OP’s owl looks pretty chill sitting there. It looks nicely fluffed and interested in the person taking the photo.

Yea, the owl in the picture seems content. It just made me remember the owl I saw while on vacation. And I’d still want to pet that fluffy cutie even though I know I shouldn’t.

Nice, let’s tie the animal down who possesses the gift of flight. But the owl probably really liked it, so it’s fine
