I stumbled across while trying to mod a community on Lemmy.world and I really like. Slick front-end for Lemmy. I don’t fully understand what is needed to get it to work, but it looks like the instance needs to decide to implement it in some way.
You can also use the public instance (atleast for now) if you want to use it for some advanced moderation tools:
You can login using your sopuli.xyz account there! But don’t know if that’ll stay up for a long time.
For the question about the possibility of Sopuli hosting tesseract directly we need to ask @[email protected]
Oh, I didn’t realize that’s a public instance and not tied to Dubvee.
Some instances limit login to accounts from their own instance, but Patrick kept this one as a public showcase instance. Been super interesting and nice that I’ve been able to try it out!
Oh sweet, I didn’t realize I could log in with my Sopuli account! Thank you!
No problem :) also photon has a public instance at https://phtn.app/ incase you wanna check that out too.
I’m using it right now and I feel silly I didn’t realize it was possible before. I feel like this whole thread is unnecessary but I guess others may see it.
Sopuli really is the best instance. :-)
Our little corner in the fediverse :) and yeah keep the post - maybe someone else has the same question later on.

Please do not publicly post my domain anywhere online. I’ve kept it entirely off the public internet so far, and IIRC I said this when I shared it on matrix.
OK
I really don’t remember the details, but I thought Tesseract was discontinued or something.
but it looks like the instance needs to decide to implement it in some way.
If you want it accessible under sopuli.xyz domain, and not www.sopuli-xyz-trustmebro.tk, then yeah, the admins should run the an instance of the frontend.
I believe development was stopped, and then started again in a limited manner. I work on a similar project and my guess is it’s hard to quit when you’ve invested so much time. But go say some nice things to @[email protected]. Positivity user feedback makes it much more enjoyable to donate your time to open source software.
Oh yeah, I know that maintaining a serious project, especially the size of Tesseract takes so much time and energy. I have a lot of respect to Admiral Patrick, who somehow hasn’t run out of steam. I’m pretty sure I would have.
