    Thank goodness for Canadian unions and for a sensible labour law environment. With remote work protections the CFIA can’t pull what a few American companies are doing: using a strict RTO policy as an excuse to layoff workers.

      I don’t agree that our labor laws are sensible. They heavily favor the employers. Especially regarding back to work legislation.

          Ok, in that case I suppose I should clarify my position:

          Rather than comparing ourselves to something worse and doing nothing, let’s aspire to something and do better.

          Don’t compare Canada to the US anymore. All it does is make us apathetic.
