Seems like API access will become monetized (like Twitter did it). This will probably kill off most third party apps if users are forced into subscriptions (see for example statement from Apollo)

Help spread the word over ther, about lemmy if you can. This problem is only going to get worse, until eventually reddit’s API gets as locked down as twitter.
