Edit: Here is proof that “dunking” is their term for organised brigading, where a hexbear member is posting a comment in another instance on hexbear “if you wanna dunk”.
Is there a way to just block hexbear? Tankie nonsense almost kept me from trying Lemmy at all, and for the longest time, it’s been good. But recently it’s just tankies everywhere and I’m so over them.
Only way is to join instances that have tankie instances blocked.

The sad truth is that unlike reddit, Lemmy is seen as “too small” and “not worth astroturfing”.
