We are such a stupid country. This happened last time, too. People voted for the “republican” because they’re perceived as being good on defense and good on the economy (in reality, they’re good for the military industrial complex, rich folk, and fuck all else). Then the crazy guy everyone heard and saw from the campaign started to run the country, and people were surprised!? And now we’ve done it again, only it’s worse this time because there aren’t any guardrails in this second abomination. We really do deserve this Hell.
