    As an Atlantan, I always figured the lack of our own barbecue style was because we’re kind of a “crossroads” of barbecue and just get influenced by all the other regional styles at once.

    But now, I am enlightened. And also aflame.

    As someone who has lived in the south. I would like to add something to this.

    1. Don’t sleep on Mustard Based BBQ. One of the most underrated sauce bases out there.
    2. If you have to add any sauce post cooking, you’re doing BBQ wrong.
    3. The best bbq is the one on your plate, unless you have to add sauce, in which case it’s the worst.
