1 bit color palette. It only uses two colors: black and white.

Umm, no? 1-bit means 2^1 values. In this case the two colors but more commonly just 0 and 1.
2-bit would mean 2^2 values.
Well fuck me, you’re right. I knew this and still got it wrong. Welp - that’s why I chose the name.
