    I like it. We already know flora have communication networks, and reactions. Why shouldn’t the environment – the soil, water, air, that supports all life also be included?

    The zebras would vote to kill all lions, and want to move into the suburbs and have solid leisure time. Of course all our own meat production would instantly stop as well. There’s more farm animals than (large) wild animals or humans.

    Well there’s an orungatan running the US and donkeys in Congress, not to mention a turtle in the senate, so I think they already have pretty solid representation.
