In a statement, Hadash-Ta’al termed the committee’s decision “an unprecedented violation of the right to vote and be elected, and of freedom of speech.” It called the impeachment process “a low point for this Knesset and the culmination of its political persecution against Arab society and those who oppose continuation of the war.”
