    It would have happened anyways.

    Maybe give them credit for it happening 1-3 years earlier, but it was still going to happen.

      Existing car manufacturers had no incentive or desire to change. If they wanted to they could have done this 2 decades ago. They still dragged their feet when Tesla took off, and you can say are still dragging their feet. The Leaf being air cooled? Toyota doesn’t have an EV. Etc.
