Hi, can you add alt text support for images? It was added in Lemmy 0.19.something, but Connect has no way of (a) setting it, or (b) viewing it.

Hi, thanks for the feedback and alt text is rolling out now on the beta channel (v224). As of now it shows on image long press until I think of a better way to display it.

Excellent, thanks, finally got around to testing this today.
Now we have the new image browser with “media information” on the bottom pane, perhaps the alt text could be added there?
