I think it may be showing “all”, which means it’s the same or similar bug as the post before mine.

Thanks! Did @[email protected] speak to you about the rate limiting? Since the upgrade I’ve been rate limited on my own account which hasn’t happened before (I was getting it with bots when I spoke to Emperor previously). The limit seems to be set to one post every 15 mins, which seems a bit low.

I didn’t twig it might be upgrade related. I tried to mod an account on 0.19.4 and it didn’t federate back, and I’ve changed descriptions on communities on 0.19.4 and they aren’t federating back either (two different instances). Seems OK with 0.19.3 so I’m making a bit of an assumption that it’s the version mismatch, but I know Lemmy has had issues with federation across versions before. I can’t even force it to fetch a post on lemmy.dbzer0.com which didn’t federate. (https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/22446189 if you want to try - I search for it and it doesn’t do anything, whereas that would normally pull it down). I checked the blocked instances on all the servers and nothing relevant is defederated as far as I can tell.

Any update on when this is due? I’ve encountered some federation problems with servers that are on 0.19.4, so keen on seeing this!

Do you ever get that thing where the more you look at a word the more it looks wrong? I’m getting that with “would” and “could” after reading this thread.

I’ve been taking part in these since they launched. Great to hear they will be available year round now, although I believe most of what we saw were technically test events - so will be interesting to see if we get many.
