Graphene is ridiculously easy to flash. Back up your data & plug in your phone then click install. Highly recommended. Been using it for years and I get very frequent security updates.
Hmm…looks like it needs a subscription for the OS, not sure about that. I’m looking for a new new phone myself.

That could be fine. Cheaper hardware, without built-in cost of updates. Then you pay for update support.
