• A number of defectors from the Tesla brand said that a deal-breaker was when Mr. Musk extended his arm diagonally upward, palm facing down while speaking at an inauguration event for Mr. Trump, a gesture that resembled a salute used in Nazi Germany and fascist Italy.

Why are they still tiptoeing around it? It is a Nazi salute.

      this pissed me off also.

he’s a fucking Nazi. he promotes nazi ideology and comments on his xitter platform. he went on a goddamn apology tour at Auschwitz last year for fucks sake!

why do so many people lack the courage to speak honestly? is worship of money and fear of losing a job so totalizing in our society that those paid to write words won’t call a goddamn duck a duck?! this is the New York Motherfucking Times! I feel like I’m going crazy sometimes.

My neighbor said a dealbreaker for him was when I made a squeezing motion on the trigger of my glock, a gesture that resembled “shooting his dog.”

There should be a word for that particular unsurprised flatness you feel when reading the NYT once again trying to find the most tangential angle at which to tiptoe around an obvious issue without touching on a blazingly obvious truth. Often you can tell from the mealy-mouthed headlines that it’s the NYT even before you look at the link. They always try to paint their cowardice as some kind of superior intellectual analysis, but everyone can see full well what they’re desperately trying not to admit.
